As a tangible object, an oil painting is made of materials that are susceptible to deterioration from light, changes in heat and humidity, accidents, and natural aging.

As conservators, our primary objective is to stabilize the structural condition of each painting to prevent further damage and secure its future.

We employ skill, precision and years of experience to ensure the longevity and beauty of each work of art, thereby preserving the integrity of the artist’s intent and the value of your investment.

Martha Cox, proprietor and conservator, is a Professional Associate of the American Institute of Conservation

with over 30 years of experience preserving and restoring fine art oil paintings. Established in 1998 on the banks of the Great Works River, we are located in Southern Maine and serve clients locally, throughout New England, and beyond.
